We are now an official maintainer of the Drupal ORCID contrib module! It's still very much a work in progress, but with the recently pushed changes, we can retrieve a researcher's ORCID ID and attach it to their user profile. Once attached, that researcher can log into the site with a single click on the login screen using their ORCID credentials. The user can also disassociate their ID if they so choose.
